Explore Ko Lanta

Take a look at everything I got up to whilst I was in Ko Lanta. From the places I stayed, to the activities I did, and what I missed out on. <3

Ko Lanta

Koh Lanta offers a refreshing escape from Thailand's busier islands like Phuket and Phi Phi. While development has brought some beautiful beach resorts, the island retains its relaxed vibe, making it perfect for families, couples, and divers seeking authentic Thai island charm without overcrowding.

Stretching 30km long and 6km wide, Koh Lanta Yai boasts nine golden beaches, lush mangroves, and forested hills. A scenic coastal road runs the island's length, connecting visitors to Mu Koh Lanta National Park and the picturesque southern lighthouse.

Koh Lanta's remote location preserves its natural beauty, with crystal-clear waters and spectacular dive sites like Hin Muang-Hin Daeng and Koh Rok. The island also serves as a gateway to Trang province's stunning islands.

The most convenient way to get from A to B is to take a taxi. Using apps like Grab and inDrive are a popular choice when in Thailand.

When it came to island hopping I quickly found that 12GO Asia was perfect. The app allows you to book ferries and speedboats to get from one island to another.

Long distance travel was made much easier when I was able to catch a flight. The app I used was Skyscanner and they offered several different airlines with various flight times.
