Da Nang
Da Nang, located along Vietnam’s central coast, is a lively city where natural beauty meets modern charm. It’s famous for its long, sandy beaches, lush mountains, and unique landmarks like the Dragon Bridge and the surreal Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills.
The city offers a laid-back vibe with clean streets, friendly locals, and a growing skyline. Its food scene is rich and flavourful, with standout dishes like Mi Quang and fresh seafood.
Da Nang also serves as a convenient base for exploring the ancient town of Hoi An and the historic imperial city of Hue, making it a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and culture.

The most convenient way to get from A to B is to take a taxi. Using apps like Grab and inDrive are a popular choice when in Vietnam.
When it came to island hopping I quickly found that 12GO Asia was perfect. The app allows you to book ferries and speedboats to get from one island to another.
Long distance travel was made much easier when I was able to catch a flight. The app I used was Skyscanner and they offered several different airlines with various flight times.
